After the horrible disappointment of The Desolation of Smaug, at least there is something for fantasy fans to look forward to.
Lots of interesting things in this trailer - Tyrion Lannister in chains, Jamie with a new metal hand (and short hair!), more of Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons - but the most intriguing sequence has to be the one with Ser Alliser Thorne doing an Aragorn-style 'This day we fight' speech. It will be interesting to see how the relationship between him and Jon Snow works out.
Also lots of interesting new additions to the cast for the coming season - with Indira Varma (from the Kama Sutra movie and later Bride and Prejudice) playing Ellaria Sand, Roger Ashton-Griffiths (who I absolutely loved in his role as Polites in the 1997 TV version of The Odyssey with Armand Assante) as the Lord High Oaf (at least according to his mother Lady Oleanna) Mace Tyrell of Highgarden and Chilean actor Pedro Pascal as the Red Viper, Oberyn Martell.
Its not going to be easy waiting till the 7th of April, when we will finally get to see the first episode here in Britain.
